We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading dealer group for an experienced HGV Technician to join their team at Trafford Park. Duties of a HGV Technician:
  • Maintain and repair trucks, lorries, and other heavy commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults, conduct tests, and perform scheduled servicing and repairs
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for warranty, retail, and contract work as a HGV Technician 
  • Deliver high-quality service to customers within classified service areas
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimise customer vehicle downtime
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance
  • Proven experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs
  • Manufacturer training or current technical knowledge (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence; LGV/PSV licence advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach
