We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced job seeker for the position of Part Time HGV Technician with our client based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified HGV technicians looking for flexible working hours within a busy fleet workshop environment.

Duties:
  • Conduct diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Ensure that work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organised manner
  • Complete service and repair documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols within the workshop
  • Assist with general workshop duties to support team efforts
  • Work productively to meet targets without compromising on quality standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role
  • Full, valid HGV technician qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and competence with diagnostic equipment and heavy vehicle repair standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible attitude towards working up to four days per week
  • Valid HGV licence
