Our client, a reputable and established automotive company based in Erith, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their team on an early shift.

- Monday to Friday, 05:00 – 13:00 shift pattern

- Conducting major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other commercial vehicles
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance, including tyre rotations and oil changes
- Diagnosing vehicle faults and planning repair strategies
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and managing inventory levels
- Keeping accurate documentation of repairs and services
- Providing emergency repair services at customer sites when necessary
- Managing warranty claims and escalating issues as required
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and DVSA regulations
- Level 3 (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
- Full UK driving licence relevant to the vehicle classes worked on
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to identify faulty components in line with DVSA standards
- Proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage workload effectively
