We are working with a reputable automotive employer to recruit a skilled HGV Technician for their busy Grantham branch. The successful HGV Technician will join a well-established multi-award-winning dealer group with over 50 years of service, offering excellent long-term career prospects and competitive compensation.

  • Basic salary of up to £40,500 depending on experience, plus bonus earnings
  • Working hours of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternating shifts (Week 1: 6am-2pm; Week 2: 2pm-10pm)

Duties of a HGV Technician: 
  • Conduct repairs and servicing of HGV vehicles
  • Perform diagnostic checks to identify faults
  • Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults
  • Carry out work in accordance with DVSA standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Carry out all other vehicle maintenance and repair tasks as required
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Mechanics
  • Proven experience working on HGV vehicles
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own set of tools
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
  • High attention to detail and quality workmanship
