We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading UK commercial vehicle specialist for the position of HGV Technician based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV technicians to join a reputable company offering competitive pay, ongoing training, and a positive working environment.

Duties of the HGV Technician:
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles and trailers
  • Diagnose faults efficiently, perform tests, and complete high-quality repairs
  • Manage all related documentation for warranty, retail, and contract work
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce customer downtime
  • Support colleagues and undertake additional tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor
Requirements of the HGV Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Proven experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles
  • Up-to-date manufacturer training and strong technical understanding
  • Organised, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
