Working hours
Alternating early and late shifts:
Early: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30.
Late: Monday-Friday, 15:00-23:00, plus Saturday mornings, 08:30-12:30.
Key Responsibilities
As an HGV Technician, you'll work on trucks and buses, using your commercial vehicle maintenance skills to:
Carry out HGV servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
Complete vehicle inspections, contracted maintenance and MOT preparation.
Follow manufacturer standards for heavy vehicle repair and servicing.
Maintain accurate workshop records and a clean, safe working environment.
What we're looking for
This role would suit an HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Truck Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician with:
An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
Experience in heavy goods vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
A commitment to quality workmanship and teamwork.
