Valenti Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle operation based in Worsley.

What You'll Be Doing

As an HGV Technician you'll be responsible for maintaining a fleet of commercial vehicles to the highest possible standard.

Your duties will include:

• Servicing, inspecting and repairing HGVs.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT.
• Completing road tests following repairs where appropriate.
• Responding to vehicle breakdowns when required.
• Maintaining accurate workshop records.
• Working safely whilst ensuring vehicles meet legal and company standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
• Is confident diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs independently.
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is committed to health and safety at all times.
• Holds a Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
• An HGV licence

Knowledge of heavy vehicle diagnostics and manufacturer repair procedures would be beneficial, although ongoing development will be supported.

As part of the recruitment process you'll be asked to complete a paid practical assessment together with the company's standard pre-employment checks.
