Location: Bolton
Salary: Up to £49,140 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts:  Mon – Fri 7am – 4.30pm

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join the team, based just outside Bolton. The role would involve maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles, from small vans through to rigid HGVs, tractor units, trailers and specialist vehicles.

The role offers a great work life balance, no contractual weekends and overtime paid at an enhanced rate at time and a half.

• Up to £40,140, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles and trailers.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Complete relevant paperwork and job records accurately.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician or similar.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on commercial vehicles and/or trailers.
• A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
