As a HGV Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the HGV workshop, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
    • Allocating jobs to HGV Technicians and monitoring progress to ensure vehicles are maintained and returned to service within agreed timescales.
    • Supporting Technicians with technical queries and assisting with complex fault diagnosis and repairs where required.
    • Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a safe, roadworthy and compliant standard.
To be successful in this role as a HGV Workshop Supervisor, you should have:
  • Previous experience working as a HGV Workshop Supervisor or in a senior HGV Technician position is essential.
    • Previous experience supervising or leading a team of HGV Technicians.
    • Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
    • A full UK driving licence.
    • Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous.
