- Supervise and delegate work to the technician team, ensuring quality standards are met
- Assist in training and developing staff, including apprentices
- Liaise effectively with other supervisors, customers, and suppliers
- Monitor workshop productivity and efficiency as a HGV Workshop Supervisor
- Conduct final inspections and quality checks on repair work
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Maintain accurate job card documentation and ensure proper recording of work
- Identify training needs and support staff development
- Flexibly manage workload to support operational targets and team success
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle or equivalent technical qualification
- Proven experience in diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair of heavy vehicles
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence; HGV licence preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with a confident professional manner
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Commitment to high standards of quality and customer service
