Salary: £120 - £145 per day (Dependent on Experience)

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a genuine difference every day?
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected specialist education provider seeking an enthusiastic and confident HLTA to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils who benefit from personalised learning, small class sizes and a nurturing environment where relationships are at the heart of success.
Working alongside experienced teachers, SEN professionals and pastoral teams, you will play a key role in raising attainment, promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning.
The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will provide high-quality classroom support, deliver targeted interventions and confidently lead whole-class learning when required.
This role would suit an experienced HLTA who thrives within inclusive education and enjoys supporting pupils with a range of additional learning, communication and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver planned lessons in the teacher's absence when required.
• Lead small group and one-to-one interventions.
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment and reporting.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
• HLTA Status or significant Higher Level Teaching Assistant experience.
• Experience supporting pupils within Primary, Secondary, SEND or Alternative Provision settings.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
• Confident leading learning and covering lessons.
• Passionate about inclusion, safeguarding and pupil well-being.
• Flexible, resilient and committed to helping every learner succeed.
