Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential, with a dedicated leadership team focused on staff development and pupil success.

The school is looking to appoint a committed HLTA on a long-term basis from September 2026. The successful HLTA will support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2, deliver targeted interventions, provide whole-class cover where required and use their SEN experience to support pupils with additional learning needs.

The successful HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Previous experience working within a UK primary school
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
• SEN experience is desirable
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
