Salary: £100–£120 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

A well-organised primary school in Bexley is looking for a capable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide high-quality classroom support and planned cover across the school. This varied role is ideal for an experienced HLTA who can step confidently into different classes and keep learning on track.
You will work closely with teachers and phase leaders, leading interventions when not covering lessons. The school offers clear systems, supportive leadership and an inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
The HLTA will:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons during PPA, training and short-term absence
• Lead focused literacy and numeracy interventions
• Assess learning and provide useful feedback to class teachers
• Adapt activities for pupils with SEND and differing starting points
• Maintain positive behaviour and consistent classroom routines
• Support planning, preparation and resource organisation
You will need:
• HLTA status or substantial experience working at HLTA level
• Recent experience across the primary age range
• Confidence leading whole classes independently
• Strong behaviour-management and communication skills
• The right to work in the UK
