Transparency Education is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a primary school opportunity in Dartford. You will combine classroom support with planned whole-class cover and targeted teaching activities agreed with the school.
This is an opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can lead a group confidently, explain tasks clearly and respond to different learning needs. You will work closely with teachers to keep support connected to classroom goals.
- Lead planned learning activities and whole-class cover within the agreed remit.
- Deliver focused literacy or numeracy interventions and record outcomes.
- Adapt resources and support pupils with SEND or additional learning needs.

- HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification and demonstrable experience.
- Experience leading whole-class learning or structured group interventions.
- Secure primary curriculum knowledge, organisation and positive behaviour support.
- Appropriate qualifications and training for the responsibilities of the post.
Higher rates reflect substantial relevant experience and/or training, such as a recognised Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent where relevant. Pay follows school expectations and AWR, where applicable.
