Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a long-term opportunity in a fantastic primary school?
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join a primary school in the B45 area, supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 (KS2).
This is a long-term HLTA position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA to become a valued member of a school team, build strong relationships with pupils and staff, and make a real impact on learning and progress.
👩🏫 The HLTA Role
As an HLTA in this KS2 primary setting, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. The role will involve:
* Working closely with KS2 pupils to support their learning, development and progress.
* Delivering lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher.
* Supporting teachers with planning, preparation and classroom organisation.
* Leading small-group and whole-class learning activities.
* Providing targeted support to pupils who may require additional help.
* Maintaining a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
* Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
* Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and the wider school team.
* Helping to ensure pupils remain engaged, motivated and focused on their learning.
* Using your HLTA experience and initiative to confidently take responsibility for learning activities and classroom routines.
* Building positive relationships with pupils and acting as a strong role model.
The successful HLTA will be confident working across KS2, adaptable, proactive and passionate about supporting children to achieve their potential.
