A highly regarded 3-form entry Primary School in Haringey is seeking an ambitious Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team from September 2026.
This Higher Level Teaching Assistant role has been designed for candidates who enjoy working closely with pupils whilst developing their teaching practice. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will lead Maths interventions, support small group learning, and occasionally take responsibility for a Year 5 class during parts of the school day when the class teacher is unavailable.
Planning and resources will be provided, allowing the Higher Level Teaching Assistant to focus on lesson delivery, classroom management, and pupil engagement.
The school has an excellent reputation for nurturing talent and has previously appointed ECTs directly from Reeson Education into permanent teaching positions. For the right Higher Level Teaching Assistant, there may be opportunities to progress into a teaching role in the future.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Delivering Maths interventions across KS2
