Teaching Personnel is working alongside a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Prestwich to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or qualified HLTA looking to take the next step in their career, supporting teaching and learning across the school while making a positive impact on pupil outcomes.

The Role

As a HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning, deliver interventions, and lead lessons when required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering targeted interventions and small group sessions
  • Supporting pupils to achieve their academic and personal goals
  • Leading planned learning activities across the curriculum
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to staff
  • Promoting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a HLTA qualification or has relevant classroom experience
  • Is confident supporting learning across primary age groups
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Is passionate about helping children succeed
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding and inclusion
