Key Responsibilities

As a Hire Desk Controller in Middlesbrough, you'll ensure smooth and efficient Forklift Hire operations across all customer requests.

• Coordinating all Forklift Hire bookings from enquiry through to completion
• Liaising with suppliers and Plant Hire partners for deliveries and collections
• Managing breakdowns, repairs, and urgent equipment requirements
• Maintaining accurate hire records, pricing, and cost control
• Supporting site teams with advice, updates, and compliance requirements
• Assisting with invoicing, customer orders, and general hire desk administration
• Building strong relationships across the Plant Hire and supplier network

What we're looking for

To succeed as a Hire Desk Controller in Middlesbrough, you'll ideally have:

• Experience within Forklift Hire, Plant Hire, powered access, HGV, crane or agricultural sectors
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced hire environment
• Confident communication skills with customers and suppliers
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
