Hire & Service Desk Coordinator

Basildon, Essex

£28,000 - £35,000 pa DOE

Monday - Friday, Permanent Position

We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Hire Desk Coordinator to join my Client's team.

This role is central to the day-to-day operation of the hire desk, ensuring equipment is hired out efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Role:

·Responsible for coordinating hire bookings and dealing with enquiries

·Scheduling deliveries and collections of equipment

·Manage incoming hire enquiries by telephone and email.

·Process equipment hire bookings accurately and efficiently.

·Sending out invoices

·Sending quotes to customers when needed

·Coordinate equipment availability with the transport, and operations teams.

·Liaise with customers, drivers, engineers, and depot staff to ensure a smooth hire process.

·Monitor active hires, extensions, off-hires, and equipment returns.

·Resolve customer queries promptly

·Ad-hoc duties as requested extending on from the above.

Your Experience:

Experience in working within a scheduling or hire role is essential.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Confident to communicate with stakeholders on various levels - both internally & externally.

Proficient with Microsoft Office packages - mainly word & excel

Driver and own transport - desirable.
