We're working with a fantastic secondary school in Doncaster looking for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who enjoys engaging students with historical events, encouraging critical thinking, and helping young people understand how the past has shaped the world we live in today. You'll be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement.

Whether you're an experienced History Teacher or an ambitious ECT, this role offers the chance to make a real impact within a supportive and welcoming school environment.

What your day might look like

Every day is different, but you'll be:

✔ Teaching engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
✔ Planning and delivering creative, challenging, and inclusive learning experiences
✔ Encouraging students to develop their understanding of historical events, societies, and key concepts
✔ Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential
✔ Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and academic success

What we're looking for

The right teacher will bring enthusiasm, subject knowledge, and a commitment to student success.

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✔ Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
✔ Strong classroom management and communication skills
✔ A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to teaching
✔ A genuine passion for inspiring young people through History

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
