A fantastic opportunity has become available for a confident and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest this September.

This permanent role offers the chance to work across EYFS through to Key Stage 2, providing whole-class cover and delivering targeted interventions that help pupils make excellent progress. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2
* Lead one-to-one and small group intervention sessions
* Support teachers in raising pupil achievement
* Promote positive behaviour and an engaging learning environment
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

* Holds HLTA status or has substantial experience in a similar role
* Has experience confidently covering primary classes
* Can deliver effective interventions to support pupil progress
* Is organised, adaptable and works well as part of a team
* Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development

* Permanent role starting in September 2026
