We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a well-regarded school in the Bierton area. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute actively to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning, helping to create a positive and engaging educational experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with class teachers to plan and deliver lessons, providing targeted support to individuals and small groups.
- Assist in developing and adapting learning resources to meet the diverse needs of students, in line with the school’s curriculum objectives.
- Support assessment of student progress by providing constructive feedback to both students and teachers, and aid the implementation of improvement strategies.
- Foster and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment by effectively applying the school’s behaviour management policies.
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements, adapting approaches to suit varied learning styles.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed of current educational best practises and contribute to the school’s culture of learning.
Qualifications and Requirements
- HLTA qualification or equivalent is essential.
- Proven experience in a comparable school-based role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
