Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 8am to 4pm
Unique School Solutions are supporting a large secondary school in the S35 area of Sheffield, who are looking to appoint two HLTA's ASAP. One position is working across the school supporting students aged 11-16, and the other is working in a specialist unit helping students integrate back into mainstream classes. As well as supporting students; you will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, monitor and assess pupil development and progress and liaise with teachers, parents and carers.
The roles are to start ASAP, and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:
- HLTA qualification
- Minimum grade C/4 GCSE in English and Maths
- Previous experience of working in a school
- The ability to build rapport with young learners
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
