Are you a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?We are currently recruiting for an HNB Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join a welcoming school in TS4, Middlesbrough, starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has the skills, experience and confidence to support pupils effectively and work closely with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The RoleAs a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
- Providing individual and small-group support, including pupils with SEND.
- Supporting learning, behaviour and individual support plans.
- Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Working alongside teachers to support pupil progress and achievement.
- Assisting with classroom activities, preparation and learning resources.
- Supporting pupils during lessons, breaktimes and lunchtimes.
- Maintaining a safe, positive and purposeful learning environment.
- Following safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety procedures.
- Providing feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress and any concerns.

- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
- Contactable professional references are required.
- Previous experience working within a UK school or educational setting.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong communication and classroom support skills.
- Reliable, professional and committed approach.
- Available for a September 2026 start.
