Horticulture Production Operative

Do you love the outdoors? About to finish your education and looking for the next step? MorePeople are working alongside a long-established retail nursery group, who are seeking an enthusiastic junior production operative to be the latest addition to their team. No experience needed - only a willingness to get stuck into a rewarding, hands-on role, and a genuine love of plants.

What your day-to-day could look like

• Overseeing the growth and development of ornamental trees, from planting to pruning to preparing them for delivery
• Helping with propagation and irrigation
• Using specialist horticultural equipment - no experience needed; training is provided!
• Supporting the rest of the team to ensure operations run smoothly

Who we're looking for

• People-oriented, a team player
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills
• Reliable and flexible
• Outdoorsy and happy to work in all kinds of weather - appropriate kit will be provided
• Enjoys being active. Able to bend, lift and spend the day on your feet.

• Salary from £26,500-£28,600, depending on experience
