Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Hours: 8:00am – 8:00pm, 4 days on / 4 days off
Pay: £12.71 per hour

Select Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a Hospital Porter to support the daily operations.

Duties include:

• Collecting and delivering linen around the centre.
• Managing the movement of waste in line with NHS procedures.
• Ensuring waste is correctly segregated and disposed of safely.
• Moving supplies and equipment between departments.
• Maintaining clean and organised storage areas.
• Supporting general porter duties when required.
• Carrying out manual handling tasks safely.
• Following infection control, health & safety and manual handling procedures.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous porter, warehouse or logistics experience is desirable.
