Hotel Manager in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire

We are looking for experienced, motivated and customer-focused Hotel Managers to oversee hotel operations and ensure guests receive an excellent standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of hotel operations.

• Manage and support front-of-house, housekeeping, reception and food and beverage teams.

• Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.

• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.

• Manage staff rotas, shift patterns and daily workloads.

• Monitor budgets, costs, revenue and hotel performance.

• Handle guest enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally.

• Maintain health and safety, fire safety and hygiene standards.

• Ensure rooms, facilities and public areas are maintained to a high standard.

• Monitor bookings, occupancy levels and room availability.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel management or a supervisory hospitality role.

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage a team in a busy environment.

• Good understanding of budgets, staffing and hotel operations.

• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required.
