Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a senior leadership opportunity near Woking. This varied hospitality role offers genuine responsibility, excellent benefits and the chance to influence the guest experience and commercial performance of a prestigious hotel.

• Salary of £38,000 to £40,000, depending on experience

• Lead the day-to-day running of the property
• Provide senior management cover in the General Manager's absence
• Maintain consistent standards across all departments
• Work closely with department heads to develop their teams and improve performance
• Support the successful delivery of weddings, events and other special occasions
• Analyse guest feedback and introduce practical action plans
• Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and profitability
• Contribute to the strategic business plan
• Support recruitment, coaching and colleague development
• Create a culture focused on excellent hospitality and memorable guest experiences

• A successful track record at Head of Department or senior management level within a luxury hotel
• Experience within a busy country house hotel, including weddings and events, would be highly advantageous
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Previous experience with a major global hotel brand would be advantageous
• A commercially driven approach with the ability to think like a guest and act like an owner
• Confident communication and influencing skills
• A genuine passion for outstanding hospitality and maintaining high standards
