Senior Administrator - Housing

Location: Hybrid Working (Office-Based Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)
Pay Rate: £16.83 per hour + Holiday Pay
Contract: Temporary, 1-2 Months (Potential to Extend)
Hours: Full Time, 35 Hours per Week
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join a busy housing team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator with housing sector experience to provide vital support across housing operations, repairs and resident services.
The successful candidate will be a key administrative point of contact, ensuring essential processes are completed efficiently and accurately. The role involves liaising with contractors, managing work orders, maintaining records and supporting the day-to-day delivery of housing services.
Key Responsibilities

• Raising and monitoring work orders
• Chasing contractors and following up outstanding actions
• Supporting reactive repairs administration
• Maintaining accurate records and updating housing management systems
• Providing comprehensive administrative support to operational teams
• Managing high-volume data entry and documentation
• Liaising with contractors, colleagues and residents
• Supporting administration relating to warden services, CCTV and door entry systems
• Producing reports and maintaining spreadsheets using Excel.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous administration experience within a housing environment
• Experience supporting repairs or housing operations teams
• Knowledge of warden services, CCTV and door entry systems
• Experience using Northgate or a similar housing management system
• Excellent data entry and administrative skills
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
