Housing Change & Improvement Lead in Lambeth, Greater London

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Lambeth Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 12+ months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Housing Change & Improvement Lead this role will be based at: minimum of 2 days per week on site. SW2 1RW,

The right candidate will:

•    Developing and maintaining the overall programme and project plan.
•    Coordinating the Housing redesign workstream and ensuring progress against key milestones.
•    Producing the business case, case for change and supporting documentation.
•    Managing governance processes and reporting requirements.
•    Facilitating meetings, workshops and engagement sessions with senior stakeholders.
•    Coordinating inputs from Housing leadership, HR and other corporate services.
•    Tracking risks, dependencies, decisions and actions through to delivery.
•    Supporting implementation and ensuring the programme remains on track.

We require the following:

• Experience of supporting or coordinating programmes and projects, ideally within a local authority, housing association, public sector or similarly complex organisation.
• Experience of supporting service redesign, transformation, organisational change or improvement programmes, preferably within Housing or another local authority service.
