We're recruiting an experienced Housing Compliance & Enforcement Officer to join a Local Authority in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing enforcement professional with a strong background in managing anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases and legal enforcement.

You will investigate serious and complex cases of ASB, harassment, and tenancy or lease breaches, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, preparing legal documentation, and supporting cases through to enforcement. You will also provide specialist advice to Housing Officers on case management, evidence gathering, witness statements, and appropriate legal remedies.

The role involves preparing court-ready case files, attending court where required, and working closely with Legal Services, the Police, residents, and partner agencies to deliver effective enforcement outcomes while promoting safer communities.

Essential requirements:
·Proven experience managing complex ASB cases.
·Experience preparing and taking ASB cases to court for enforcement action is essential.
·Strong knowledge of housing, ASB, and tenancy enforcement legislation.
·Experience working within a Local Authority or social housing environment.
·Excellent investigation, communication, and partnership-working skills.
