We're working with a Housing Association in Greater London to recruit a Housing & Compliance Officer. This is a varied role combining housing management responsibilities with health & safety and compliance duties across a portfolio of approximately 250 general needs and supported housing properties.
Key Responsibilities -
- Manage tenancies and act as a key point of contact for residents.
- Conduct property inspections, health & safety checks, and compliance visits.
- Ensure properties remain compliant with fire safety, gas, electrical, and building safety requirements.
- Manage tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour, neighbour disputes, and rent arrears.
- Liaise with contractors regarding repairs, maintenance, and compliance works.
- Support tenants to sustain their tenancies and access relevant support services.
- Maintain accurate housing and compliance records.
About You -
- Minimum 2 years' experience within housing management, supported housing, or a similar environment.
- Experience carrying out property inspections and compliance checks.
- Knowledge of tenancy management and housing compliance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Experience working with tenants, contractors, landlords, and external agencies.
