Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Housing Scheme Tenancy Management Officer Manager to join a leading Supported Housing Service based in Post Code Area CH2 Chester of Cheshire, who is really passionate about providing a personal housing support services. 

This role is working full time, 37.5 hours weekly between Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, start and finish times can be slightly amended to suit if needed and optional overtime on weekends and evenings may be possible if desired.

We have an exciting opportunity to support clients with a range of diverse housing needs. 

Due to the need to meet clients at various locations a full driving licence and your own transport is required, fuel cost for travelling away from main base will be reimbursed. 

We need a housing officer to work Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with a driving licence and good Housing and Tenancy management experience to work with the existing staff in the Chester Area, this role will be managing a patch of over 55s properties in the rural Chester Area, so flexibility and access to a vehicle is essential and regular travel is required. Tasks will be adjusted throughout the contract period to suit the needs and requirements of the business and our customers.

The successful candidate will: 

  • Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing management activities, ensuring the provision of quality and safe homes for Housing Services' current and future customers and to minimise potential risks.

  • Provide effective tenancy and resident management in line with the prescribed internal policies and good practices to build community cohesion.

  • Deliver a high quality housing management service that meets the needs and expectations of current and future residents and the wider community in line with Housing Services' business plan.

  • Develop, build and maintain relationships with current and future customers and other key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective management of housing management services, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensure these are acted upon.

  • Update and maintain all manual and computerised records in an accurate and timely manner to ensure compliance with the Group’s Record Management and Data Protection policies

  • Ensure the effective management of complaints in line with policy, focussing on first contact resolution and the identification of future learning opportunities to achieve customer service excellence.

Skills needed:  

  • Experience within housing or support services

  • A commitment to promoting independence and positive outcomes for clients

  • Own car and a full, valid driving licence  

  • Excellent Communication and IT Skills

  • Able to work in UK without sponsorship 

This is guaranteed via our agency until at least November and the assignment rate is £18.48 per hour, the hiring company has previously offered continuation as permanent employee follow successful performance in the initial months.
