We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing organisation in Dudley for Housing Support Officer to work within a supported housing unit for young adults and care leavers.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone experienced in providing practical and emotional housing-related support, helping young people develop independence and stability.

Key Responsibilities of a Housing Support Officer:
  • Providing 1:1 housing support to young adults and care leavers
  • Supporting residents to maintain tenancies and develop independent living skills
  • Creating, reviewing and updating support plans
  • Offering guidance around welfare benefits and housing benefits
  • Signposting to relevant services and agencies
  • Maintaining accurate records and case notes
  • Working in line with safeguarding and organisational policies
What We'd Love To See From You:
  • Previous experience providing housing support or similar support work
  • Strong understanding of support planning and tenancy sustainment
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing-related support
  • Ability to build positive, professional relationships with young people
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
