Housing & Support Officer - Sutton & Epsom Make a real difference to vulnerable people's lives every single day. Help Transform clients build independence and daily living skills whilst developing your career in a truly fulfilling role.
No previous experience needed - full training provided.
What you'll be doing You'll work as part of a supportive team, empowering clients to resolve problems and reach positive outcomes. You'll help clients meet their personalised support plans and access local community services.
Your housing management duties will include rent collection, risk assessments, tenancy management, reporting maintenance issues, and health and safety checks.
Every day is different in this varied and fulfilling role.
Salary: £18,162 per annum (£28,000 FTE)
Location: Sutton & Epsom Team based in Wallington
Hours: 24 hrs per week
About you We're looking for someone who has:
- Ability to develop non-judgmental professional relationships with clients
- Basic numeracy and written communication skills in Maths and English GCSE/level 4 or above or equivalent
- The ability to communicate well with clients, peers and other agencies
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to manage their own time, delivering outcomes, meeting deadlines and undertaking training
- The ability to gain an understanding of safeguarding issues and a commitment to protect all adults and children using or visiting Transform's services
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet)
