HR Administrator / Office Manager

Location: Worcestershire - Fully onsite, 5 days per week
Contract: Temporary / Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
 
Our client, a leading organisation in the education and public services sector, is looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator / Office Manager to provide essential support across HR administration and day-to-day office operations.
 
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, organised and working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Previous experience within education, higher education, social care or a similar environment would be beneficial.
 
What you'll do
  • Provide day-to-day HR administration and coordination support
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Support onboarding, new starter processes and general employee administration
  • Assist with recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and preparing documentation
  • Manage general office administration and ensure the office runs efficiently
  • Coordinate meetings, diaries, correspondence and other administrative requirements
  • Act as a key point of contact for employees and external stakeholders
  • Support managers with HR processes and administrative queries
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
  • Assist with general office coordination and ad-hoc projects as required
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in HR administration, office management or a similar administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • A professional and approachable manner
  • Experience working with confidential or sensitive information
  • Background within education, higher education, social care, public sector or a similar environment would be advantageous
The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable and comfortable working in a fully onsite environment, with the confidence to take ownership of a varied workload.
