Part Time - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (20 hours per week)

VINCI Construction is looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our Contract Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop their career within Human Resources while supporting a busy operational contract. Working closely with managers, employees, recruitment teams and the wider HR function, you will play a key role in ensuring employee records, onboarding activities and HR administration processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

The role offers exposure to the full employee lifecycle and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Provide administrative support across all HR activities within the contract.
  • Process new starter, onboarding and induction documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
  • Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination and offer administration.
  • Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers and contractual amendments.
  • Assist with absence management administration and reporting.
  • Produce HR reports and maintain trackers using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ensure HR systems are updated and compliant with company procedures.
  • Support managers and employees with HR-related queries.
  • Assist with training administration and compliance monitoring.
  • Prepare documentation relating to disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR requirements.

About you

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within HR, recruitment or a busy support function.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience maintaining confidential records and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Positive, proactive and customer-focused approach.
