About the Role

As an HR Adviser, you'll become a trusted partner to schools and academy trusts, providing expert HR advice that enables leaders to confidently manage their people.

Working alongside a team of experienced HR professionals, you'll build strong customer relationships and provide practical, commercially focused advice across a wide range of HR matters.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide expert HR advice to school leaders on employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, contractual changes and organisational change.

  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including drafting documentation and attending meetings where required.

  • Build trusted relationships with customers, delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Work closely with colleagues across HR, Payroll and Pensions to provide a seamless service.

  • Keep up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice.

  • Support continuous improvement projects and contribute to developing our HR service.

About You

You'll have:

  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong generalist HR experience.

  • Experience managing employee relations cases.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A proactive, customer-focused approach.

  • Education sector experience is desirable but not essential.
