Location: Wayside House, Wilsons Lane, Coventry CV6 6NY
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri
Pay: £19.01 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
To support the HR Business Partner in providing a comprehensive range of professional HR advice and support managers and staff within. the Trust. The post holder will be responsible for providing these services within the context of the
Trust’s overall OD / HR strategy, operating procedures and business plan to ensure that the Trust’s Vision and Values are at the heart of patient care.
Summary
We are seeking an Investigator to join our dynamic team at NHS Professionals in the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and quality of our staffing services, contributing to our commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Take an operational lead in the coordination of workforce management activities in relation to key workforce targets (e.g. reduction of staff sickness, staff turnover, appraisal rates etc) and report on progress through the OD / HR function.
- The post holder will be required to use a computer, either a standalone or as part of a networked system and will be responsible for the quality of information. The amount of time spent on this type of work will depend on the job.
- The Trust embraces the principles of Improving Working Lives and all staff will be required to adhere to the standards laid down in this initiative.
- The post holder will be required to take part in an annual performance appraisal, where this job description will be reviewed, and objectives set.
- The Trust has a No Smoking Policy that prohibits any smoking whilst at work.
- To follow and adhere to the Trust’s Health and Safety Policies and instructions and be responsible for your own and others health and safety in the workplace.

ER Case Investigation Management
- To assess, plan and organise investigations of a varying nature and complexity in accordance with national and local Trust policies and procedures.
- Act as Lead Investigator to undertake thorough and timely investigations as requested.
- Conduct witness interviews and take statements in accordance with current legislation and national / organisational guidance.
- To use own initiative, sound judgment and experience to provide appropriate investigatory observations and factual evidence assessments.
- To gather, record and securely retain evidence relating to an investigation in accordance with organisational policy, procedures, legislation, and Codes of Practice.
Qualification :
- Educated to Degree Level
- CIPD
- Evidence of continuing professional Education
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- Ability to give advice and support managers on a range of staff issues
- Ability to establish and maintain communication with individuals and groups about difficult or complex matters.
