This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly HR team within a successful manufacturing business. You will be acting as the key point of contact for all HR related queries providing expert advice to managers or employees.
Description of the role:
- Dealing with general day-to-day HR queries and concerns.
- Advising and managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
- Ensuring compliance across employment law and regulations.
- Coaching managers to build capability and providing knowledge.
- Supporting the HR Business Partner to deliver strategy projects.
- Supporting the employee life cycle assisting with on boarding, induction and probation processes.
- Providing information on pay and benefits.
- Supporting the wider HR team.
About you:
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards).
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to manage ER cases independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Flexible to cover later hours to coordinate with the night shift (more information will be provided)
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment or similar.
