- FTC contract for 1 year
- Salary circa £40k
- 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday
- Based in Chelmsford with some travel required.
- Hybrid working available.
- 25 days holiday + BH
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Support employee relations cases, including absence, performance and probation reviews.
- Assist with the delivery of HR projects and organisational initiatives.
- Coordinate training, learning and development activities across the business.
- Maintain and improve HR systems, records and reporting.
- Support payroll, benefits and compliance processes.
- Contribute to wellbeing, audit and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor position or similar level role.
- Good understanding of core HR practices and employment legislation.
- Experience supporting employee relations activities.
- Previous experience within multi site, engineering or construction business ideal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
