SF Partners are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team within a well-established organisation in Stratford-upon-Avon.
This is a varied, hands-on generalist role where you'll provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, supporting them across a range of employee relations and people matters.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Rate: £20-£30 per hour, depending on experience and CIPD status
Contract: Interim / Fixed Term/ Hybrid
Location: Stratford-on-Avon

The role
Working closely with HR Managers, you will:
- Provide practical HR advice and coach managers through HR policies, procedures and employee relations matters.
- Support managers through formal HR meetings and hearings, ensuring processes are handled fairly and effectively.
- Manage and support sickness absence cases, including formal absence processes and occupational health referrals.
- Act as a key point of contact for Occupational Health, coordinating referrals and associated processes.
- Provide guidance around restructuring, redundancy and organisational change.
- Support the review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Advise on terms and conditions, recruitment and wider HR processes.
- Build strong working relationships with managers, employees and trade union representatives/Unison.
- Work collaboratively with HR Administration and Payroll colleagues.
- Support wider HR projects, employee engagement and organisational development activity as required.

What we're looking for
We're looking for an established HR professional who can quickly get up to speed and confidently manage a varied workload.

You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience working within a busy HR environment, providing professional advice and guidance.
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence supporting formal HR processes.
- Good working knowledge of HR procedures, ACAS best practice and UK employment legislation.
- Experience advising and coaching managers.
- Experience managing sickness absence and occupational health processes.
- The ability to build credible relationships at all levels.
- A confident, professional and diplomatic approach when dealing with challenging HR matters.
- Experience working with trade unions or employee representatives would be advantageous.

Qualifications
Chartered CIPD membership (MCIPD) is highly desirable, although candidates who are CIPD qualified or working towards Level 5 may also be considered depending on their experience.

Working arrangements
The role offers hybrid working, with an expectation of spending at least 40% of contracted hours in the Stratford-upon-Avon office.
