We are looking for a proactive and operationally focused HR professional to join a busy team in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor, or a confident HR Officer ready to take the next step, to play a key role in supporting operational teams across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy operational environment and enjoys managing a varied employee relations caseload while building strong relationships with managers across the business. Working closely with the wider HR team and the managers across the business, you will play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly while helping to deliver a positive employee experience.

HR Advisor responsibilities

Build strong working relationships with management in all areas of the Company.

Provide HR advice to managers, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.

To support management with various ER cases and provide support in meetings relating to but not limited to – disciplinaries, grievances, performance / capability, absence management, and probationary reviews.

To provide an effective onboarding and offboarding experience to employees. Ensuring accurate documentation is produced and issued within required timescales, along with ensuring the applicable people are informed.

To provide support to the Head of HR & Payroll regarding the HR Strategy and with various projects, when required.

Ensure HRIS and other data capture methods are maintained with regards to all employee information.

Production of various HR reports and statistics, when necessary.

Assist in production and delivery of training material to staff, including management.

Ensure HR processes are applied consistently across the Company. Promoting fairness, equality, and diversity.

What We're Looking For

CIPD Level 5 qualified, studying towards, or L3 and equivalent practical HR experience.

Previous experience operating in an HR Advisor role, or substantial HR Officer experience with responsibility for employee relations casework.

Strong knowledge of Employment Law and HR-related case law is essential.

Significant ER experience is required. Involvement in restructures and TUPE processes, is desirable.

Experience supporting operational, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or FMCG environments would be highly advantageous.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail is required.

Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, are essential.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to other sites when required.

What's In It for You?

Salary: c.£35,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Hours: 40 hrs per week 8.30am-5pm Mon–Fri

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays (P/R)

Pension: The Company will make contributions of 7% of earnings into the scheme. In addition, for every 1% the employee contributes the Company will contribute a further 0.5% up to a maximum Company contribution of 10%.
