We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised HR & Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of HR operations and payroll processes, supporting both employees and managers with accurate, timely, and compliant administration.

Do you have…

Previous experience in an HR and/or payroll administrative role

Understanding of payroll processes, legislation, and statutory requirements

Familiarity with HR systems and payroll software

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths

CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards) desirable

Payroll-related qualifications (e.g. CIPP) desirable

Key responsibilities:

Administer monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements

Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality

Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, changes, and leavers

Process payroll changes such as starters, leavers, salary adjustments, benefits, and deductions

Act as a first point of contact for HR and payroll queries

Support the preparation and submission of statutory returns (e.g. HMRC, pensions)

Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities

Coordinate absence records, holiday tracking, and benefits administration

Provide administrative support for recruitment and other HR initiatives

Responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant creation of purchase requisitions to support business operations.

Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

Strong team collaboration skills
