We are working with a well-respected client who is seeking a proactive and highly organised HR Assistant to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their HR career within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will support a wide range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle and work closely with managers and stakeholders to deliver an efficient and professional HR service. Experience within a professional services environment would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes to employment, and leavers.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including supporting probation reviews, performance discussions, and development planning.
  • Coordinate employee engagement and talent initiatives, helping to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Attend employee relations and performance meetings, taking accurate notes and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Support managers and stakeholders by providing timely HR guidance on day-to-day matters.
  • Prepare HR reports, maintain dashboards, and update workforce data to support business decisions.
  • Ensure all employee records and HR documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and onboarding new starters.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and current employment legislation.

About You

  • Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or similar support role.
  • Exposure to HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience within a fast-paced or professional services environment is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and confidence handling HR data.
  • High level of attention to detail with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
