Our client is a manufacturing organisation within the automotive sector, seeking a permanent HR Assistant to support its HR department.
The successful candidate will take ownership of recruitment and onboarding processes, working closely with the HR team to ensure smooth employee transitions and maintain compliance with employment standards.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment workflows, from job posting through candidate screening and interview coordination
- Oversee onboarding programmes, ensuring new employees receive comprehensive induction and necessary documentation
- £27,000 to £29,000 per annum, permanent position with scope to develop HR expertise
- Proven experience in recruitment administration, including job advertising, CV screening, and candidate communication
- Demonstrated competence in employee onboarding, including preparation of contracts, handbooks, and induction materials
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality
- CIPD Level 3 in HR Practice, or equivalent HR qualification
- Experience working within a manufacturing or regulated industry environment
- Familiarity with employment law and compliance requirements in the United Kingdom
