HR Business Partner
Hays HR are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established organisation based in Yorkshire to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner on a temporary basis for an initial 3-6 month assignment.
This opportunity has arisen due to an ongoing organisational restructure and will play a key role in supporting managers and employees through a period of change. The successful applicant will take ownership of a varied employee relations caseload while providing professional HR guidance and partnering support across the business.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional seeking a challenging interim role with a strong possibility of securing a permanent position for the right individual.
About the Role
As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with operational leaders and senior stakeholders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused HR support. A significant element of the role will involve managing complex employee relations matters arising from organisational change, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a broad range of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
- Coaching and supporting managers to effectively manage people-related issues.
- Providing HR guidance during a period of organisational restructuring and change.
- Supporting consultation processes and workforce planning activities.
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Identifying risks and recommending practical HR solutions to support business objectives.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations and business partnering.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Significant experience managing complex employee relations casework (minimum 3 years)
- Previous experience operating at HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor level.
- Strong knowledge and application of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience supporting organisations through periods of change and transformation.
- The ability to work autonomously whilst building effective working relationships.
CIPD Level 5 qualification or above is highly desirable.
Due to the hybrid nature of the role, applicants must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of the Yorkshire office location and be able to attend site one day per week.
