Cactus Search is delighted to be supporting a growing and high-performing organisation in the appointment of an experienced HR Co-Ordinator to join their team in Cheltenham/ Gloucester.

The Role - As HR Co-Ordinator, you’ll provide a broad range of HR support and advice, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing expert advice across employee relations, including performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, restructures and redundancies
  • Advising managers and employees on family-friendly policies, including maternity and flexible working
  • Supporting effective absence management and return-to-work processes
  • Conducting exit interviews and using feedback and data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Supporting recruitment, interviewing and candidate assessment activity
  • Developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting performance management and annual review processes
  • Researching and introducing new HR initiatives and best practice
  • Producing regular HR reports and analysing people data
  • Supporting monthly payroll processes and ensuring HR data is accurate
  • Providing general HR administration and day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle
You’ll ideally have:
  • 3+ years' practical experience in a generalist HR role
  • CIPD qualification, part qualification or equivalent relevant HR experience
  • Strong and current knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Experience managing a broad range of employee relations matters
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Exposure to organisational change and change management
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with HR data and reporting
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A confident, consultative approach with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • Resilience and discretion when dealing with sensitive or complex situations
  • Experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition
  • An understanding of performance management and employee development
