The Role
Working closely with the executive leadership team, you will provide operational leadership across the full employee life cycle. As a key member of the leadership team, you will lead the delivery of HR operations, employee relations, resourcing. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a large team with 2 direct reports
- Providing expert strategic HR advice to senior leaders and executive teams.
- Managing and maximising the HR service delivery
- Overseeing complex employee relations matters and stakeholder engagement.
- Leading recruitment, retention and talent strategies to support organisational priorities.
- Using workforce data and insight to inform decision-making.
- Managing and developing a high-performing HR function.
- Commercial and able to manage significant people budget
What We're Looking For
This opportunity will suit an experienced and credible HR leader with a proven track record of operating in senior HR roles, ideally within large and complex organisations.You will possess:
- Extensive experience leading HR, people functions.
- Experience influencing executive teams and senior stakeholders.
- Outstanding employee relations and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including experience managing significant budgets.
- A data-driven approach to workforce decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship-building capabilities.
- Master's level education, equivalent experience, or significant senior leadership expertise.
- MCIPD or FCIPD qualification would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you will be a visible, values-led HR leader with the resilience, emotional intelligence and credibility to lead through complexity whilst inspiring high levels of engagement and performance.
