About the Role

Working closely with the Head of HR, you will provide an efficient, responsive and high-quality HR advisory service to partners, heads of department, managers and employees across the firm. This is a full-time, office-based role that plays a central part in aligning the firm's people strategy with its long-term objectives.


HR Manager Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, talent acquisition and performance management
  • Providing expert HR advice to managers on employee relations, grievances and conflict resolution
  • Developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies in compliance with current UK employment legislation
  • Championing the firm's culture and driving employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Managing compensation, benefits and reward strategies
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Managing internal communications regarding starters and leavers


HR Manager Requirements

  • At least two years' experience in an HR advisory role
  • CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organisation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a confident, self-starting approach
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality

Desirable

  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
